Woman in Afghan police uniform attacks

(CNN) -- A woman in an Afghan police uniform attacked and injured a foreign national in the Kabul police headquarters early Monday morning, authorities said.
Officials have not yet confirmed whether the woman, who was arrested, was indeed a member of the Afghan police force, said Sediq Sediqqi, a spokesman for the Afghan interior ministry.
A spokesman for NATO's International Security Assistance Force said he was aware of the incident through media reports and that the alliance was investigating it.
No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.
